Be aware these are old and beat up, so a certain amount of
restoration had to be done. I didn't alter any of these photos, except
as little as was required to clean up scratches, dirt, etc. My addresses, driver's licence number, and social security number
have been blurred out, for obvious reasons.
1988. 19 years old. This was my second year at college.
I had switched from the veterinary field to the art world. I had just
finished working at Carowinds, where I had to have short hair, but, as you'll
see, from this point on I let it grow out.
21 years old. I was very into Duran Duran
(hence the John Taylor look), Prince, and the Cure by this point.
I was taking a hiatus from school during this period to spend more time
making money, catching up on books I'd been meaning to read, learning to
play bass guitar, and working on my artwork. I dabbled with some
modeling, but didn't have the burning desire to give it my all, so not much
came of it except I got to hang around really hot girls all the time.
1992. 23 years old. I was back in school and working
on finishing my degree in art. Starting into more of a "grunge"
look. I had just read The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand,
for the very first time - the book that would forever change me at my very core.
1993. My CPCC id, as you can see. I was about 24 here.
1996. 27 years old. I was playing lots of
bass guitar and recording music. I was certified in computer graphics and animation (3D Studio), but sadly, didn't have a computer.
So, I made a 3 minute claymation movie that took a year and a half to make. Did some travelling -
Europe, went out west a couple times to ski. I officially
started taking martial arts (Jeet Kune Do).
1997. 28 years old. This was kind of a dark
time. Vast amounts of alcohol mixed with angry music. Fortunately I bounced back
soon after this picture was taken. I was driving a red Toyota Celica
hatchback during this time period.
33 years old. Much happier as you
can see (had me a great little girlfriend). My head had been shaved 3 years at this point.
Back into martial arts after a 4 year hiatus (now taking Shaolin Kung
Fu). My Toyota died, and I switched to a Chevy Blazer.
Sadly, no more time for music making, as all available
time is spent tinkering in front of my computer creating graphics,
animations, and web pages. Oh, and being a sexy beast in general.
Ah yes.
This was from my witness protection days. You know
how it is; you've been there - running from the man, being
all incog and on the D.L.
