We can generalize our face into roughly 7 different shapes; Oval, Oblong, Round, Square, Heart, Triangle or Diamond.

For the oval face, faces with fairly balanced features, most frames will be a good match. For the oblong shaped face, faces with angular features, such as high forehead, longer nose and high cheek bones, select taller style frames. Frames that will give the impression of decreased length of your face and increase the width.
