“Ugly fish” are polarised glasses the have prescription sections at the lower of the lens. This enable you to see when threading the line through the sinker and the hook. The polarised lenses help you to see into the water as well as diffusing the glare. They are available from all good optometrists. hope this helps.

wiley X. no need to look any further. they are ANSI certified eye protection from flying hooks and sinkers or other flying objects.

    Here’s my take on it:
All of this is just a matter of how deep your wallet runs and how often you lose crap. I for one will admit I’ll lose my head if it weren’t attached to my neck. Knowing this, I won’t spend much on a pair of shades I’ll probably leave on the bank somewhere or at a diner on the marina. That’s just me. I like flying fisherman glasses, stylish, low cost, works great and if I lose ‘em, you wont see me threatening everyone around and strip searching them. ( you don’t me, I’ll do things like that! ; ) ) If going with the fashion flow is your thang, go with the Del Mars, Cocoons, Oakley, Body Glove or Wiley but if you just want practical and useful without breaking the bank, go with alternatives which serve the same purpose. It’ll leave ya more room for buying fishing gear or having a great day on the water with that special someone….nahhh.. buy more fishing gear! ; ) ~good luck catchin’

Wiley X is a good choice, but you can get even less expensive brand. As long as their polarized, I have 2 pairs that I bought at a local sporting goods store for $ 35 each. One of them has the amber lense which are good for cloudy & overcast days, and the other with the darker lense for bright sunny days.

The best fishing sunglasses are Oakley. They are the #1 brand, best sunglasses(no kidding telling the truth its not an opinion) & there are categories like for like cool style, most people would think Oakley,JawBone & there are other certain categories(another example) Romeo/Juliet(2 different types of sunglasses). Romeo can be for females & males & Juliet can be for male & female. But you can also design your own kind of sunglasses too.And the best thing about Oakley fishing sunglasses is that they make the water more clear to see.Just go to Oakley website & try to find it.(And they will all be over $ 100.00 USD because they are #1 best sunglass brand.Hope I helped you!!Oh and 1 last thing, some links may not work because it will not find the page sooooo just try the other ones.

    Suncloud,
This brand is made by smith(also good) so they have the exact same frame and lense quality. they are also covered by a lifetime warrenty. All of the lenses are polarized (for seeing the fish) and they all run for 50 bucks.
