This was inspired by the pod race sequence in The Phantom Menace. It was never really meant to be a "finished" piece - more of an experiment.
Time and software limitations have made this only about 1/50th of what I fully wanted to do.   As for the jerkiness, again, this was never meant to be really finished, just a feel for how to do it at a later date.
